Callan Prompts (with a side of Raffles/Killing Eve)

Oh, I am totally dropping you ALL my Callan/Meres plot bunnies! In order from happiest to saddest:

1) Callan/Meres have "thank God we survived" sex after Heir Apparent. Bonus points if Callan figures out Meres is jealous of Ramsey, and makes it up to him... in bed, hehe.

2) Authority kink! Hunter!Callan fucks Meres over his desk because that's how you instill loyalty in your subordinates :D :D :D

3) Fuck or die situation for blackmail purposes. Ends happily because Callan/Meres are fucking anyway, and besides, did the baddies really think the Section's top two agents are helpless just cause they're naked? Pffft, Callan/Meres wreck their captors, and Meres keeps the photos as wank material to boot.

4) Either Callan or Meres is gravely wounded on a mission, and the other agent abandons their target to tend to his injuries - against Hunter's orders. What are the repercussions?

5) Either Callan or Meres is captured and used as bait to lure the other agent out of cover. Possible conclusions:
- The latter cannot break cover for story reasons, so must listen helplessly as his lover is tortured.
- The latter breaks cover anyway to rescue his lover, causing the death of an innocent and/or reprisals from Hunter/Bishop.

6) Either Callan or Meres is betrayed and killed by a double agent. Years later, the other takes his revenge. (I'm thinking of the Belukov case in Nice People Die at Home).

7) In Death of a Hunter, Meres is the one who is tortured and brainwashed, and Callan is too late to stop him from shooting Hunter. Does Meres die? How does Callan deal with the aftermath?

8) Once, Callan had to kill his lover, Zhverkov. Now, he's ordered to kill his lover, Meres. What happens in the climactic confrontation?
- Could be very tragic with Callan killing Meres and then himself, Callan killing Meres and making good on his promise to kill Colonel Hunter (dying himself in the process), or Callan committing "suicide by cop" by forcing Meres to shoot him on reflex.
- Likewise, you could write a good ending where Callan/Meres fake their deaths, run away to a foreign country, and freelance as Equalizer type do-good mercenaries... Meres, of course, griping the entire time about the loss of his ritzy flat and fancy car (but secretly happy because Callan > The Section >>>>> his crazy aristocratic family).

From the second tumblr meme (may be combined with any of the above):

1) Massage + Sick/Injured: Callan gives Meres a massage (like in Let's Kill Everybody), or Meres feeds Callan chicken soup when he's sick (like in I Never Wanted the Job).

2) Secret Relationship + Everybody Knows/Mistaken for a Couple: Callan/Meres try to keep it a secret, but by God, they are really bad at it.

3) Poorly Timed Confession + Twenty-Four Hours to Live: Captured and about to be executed, either Callan or Meres finds the guts to confess his feelings.

4) Green-Eyed Epiphany + The Missus and the Ex: Callan is jealous when Meres's former trainee and ex-boyfriend joins them for a mission, leading to an epiphany about his feelings.

5) Flirting Under Fire + Kink: I don't even need to elaborate on this. Just give me all the kinky double entendres as Callan/Meres fight their way out of a sex club dungeon. Remember Richmond's comment on Meres: "Expensive tastes... slightly bizarre tastes."

6) First Time + Unexpected Virgin: Meres's first time bottoming is to Callan.

7) Bathtub + Scars: Hot tub intimacy and angst over Callan's scars from Death of a Hunter.

8) Grief + Heroic Sacrifice: Self-explanatory.

9) Interrupted Declaration of Love + Accidentally Saving the Day: By yours truly, Lonely.

10) In Vino Veritas + Love Confessor: Either Callan or Meres under duress by Snell (or the Russian psychiatrist from That'll Be the Day), except he uses drugs instead of wine.

Also, in case you're interested in crossovers:

1) Meres is sent to seduce Villanelle with, uh, terrible results. Callan narrowly saves him from being tied up in a bed and castrated.

2) Carolyn Martens is appointed the new head of Section, and Callan/Meres/Cross have to adjust to taking orders from a female Hunter.

3) Callan/Lonely bump into Raffles/Bunny on a burglary job at the mansion of a high-ranking official. Due to disguise shenanigans, a swap-a-roo occurs so that Callan/Bunny and Raffles/Lonely must work temporarily together. Even better if you can squeeze in some Raffles/Meres clonecest because... well, why not?
