I guess my issue is that if that's the case, Red would have had to know that his friend's "dead" son was actually alive (and had been raised to be... whatever Tom is) for some time.

I'm not saying there's no way he would've kept that to himself, I'm just saying if Red was going around thinking "There's no way this is going to bite me in the ass later" then he was wrong even before Tom got too close to Lizzie.

Anyway, I'm excited to see how things turn out!
