Happy New Year everyone!  Let's hope it's a good one!

I'll be starting the questions meme pretty soon, and I'm still taking questions here if anyone is interested.

Re: the current LJ panic, it seems like a lot of fuss over nothing to me.  Like I'm not really sure why people think Russia takes such a keen interest in their LJ posts, but if Russia does they've already been reading them.  If I didn't post all my fanfiction entirely on AO3 I might be more worried about the move, but since I don't... *shrugs*

Anyway, I may set up a backup dreamwidth just to be safe, so look out for a post about that.  In fhe meantime, in case the site implodes or something you can still find me on tumblr (I don't follow very many people just to keep my dash managable, but feel free to say hi).

Mostly, I'm just being cautious. I don't know if I believe it 100%, but I don't NOT believe it. If anything, it gave me a reason to 1. back up my journal to Dreamwidth again, 'cause I hadn't done it in a long time and 2. start being more active on there 'cause I already have one friend who's decided to stop cross-posting to Livejournal, so I might as well start getting into the habit of checking things over there.
