I'm still figuring out certain aspects of DW, but as a platform I like it very much and I plan to try to use it more regularly.

I'm not going to delete my LJ (assuming that LJ doesn't delete me and none of the other things people are worried about come to pass) but I do plan to slowly transition to DW- especially once I figure out how to read my LJ flist there in addition to crossposting!  (I gather it can be done, the instructions just looked so technical that I've put it off a few times already.) 

I promise to keep up with you all as best I can, whatever happens!

Last week I've decided it was better to be safe than sorry and mirrored my whole LJ.
I wish there would be some better method of checking which of my LJ friends have also an DW account - checking one after another is very tedious (and a bit counterproductive because some of the people must have chosen different usernames. I was lucky mine was obscure enough to still be up for grabs)

I have a DW (same handle (https://rogueslayer452.dreamwidth.org/profile)), however I'll just be backing up and remaining here for the time being. I'm just adding people who have DW and who are possibly going to be transitioning from here to over there. So tell me what your handle is and I'll add you back!

That's my issue, as well. I know that they probably wanted to make it clear but they could've done it in a more concise manner. I've tried reading and rereading it many times but I'm still so confused.

My plans may change depending on what I get working when, but I hope to go through my flist on DW and then come over here if I see LJ posts I want to comment on. So yeah, I assume I will still be commenting- I'm just hoping to make this my supplemental account rather than the other way around, if that makes sense.
