Oh wow, this is haunting, and beautiful, and sad, and a million times better than canon. I think this is the first Ianto fic that has him as the primary character, rather than part of a couple or team. I love Ianto. I forget that putting him in fics goes against canon because that COE was so ridiculous I just dismissed it.

Anyway, thank you for this, it's wonderful (and made me crave a good cup of coffee!)

Aw, thank you!

And thank you for reading this. I wound up posting it here and nowhere else because the LJ Comm Long Live Ianto only allows fic that bring Ianto back to be with Jack, which pissed me the heck off.

I should be able to save him because COE was stupid and he was awesome and he deserved to live. (I'm not still bitter or anything).

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

What?? WHAT??! Okay....they shouldn't be allowed to call their comm that if it's really a pure Jack/Ianto comm! Pfffft!

I'm bitter about Donna's fate, but I am literally so in denial about Ianto I never think of him as being dead even in canon, it's just too ridiculous to be true.

Oh, Donna...

See, normally I won't go against canon unless I absolutely can't help it, but when it comes to COE- no. Unless I can fix it with a crossover, no. Ergo Daniel ex machina.
