Title: The Vacation
Fandom: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Pairing/Characters: Percival Graves + Tina Goldstein, Seraphina Picquery
Summary: Graves isn't going to make this mistake again.
Rating: PG
Length: Short (1,302 words)
Disclaimer: None of these characters belong to me.
Notes/Warnings: Inspired by a conversation with [livejournal.com profile] icecream_junkie (I did write it after all!); ghis is not a particularly serious fic (in any sense of the term), it’s not historically accurate and probably not totally in line with Harry Potter lore either, and I doubt it's particularly original- but I’m rather pleased with it for all that, and I wanted to get it out there.
Excerpt: A few clerks noticed the paperwork and had a good laugh at the thought of Percival Graves going on vacation. They took bets on when he would change his mind, what crisis would erupt to keep him in New York, whether he would forget his plans to leave entirely- if indeed he had made those plans to begin with. A few suggested that someone must have filed the forms for Graves without consulting him- in an effort to get him to decompress, most likely, that would end in failure.

So when Graves arrived at work as expected on the day his vacation was to have begun, no one was surprised or suspicious. Some money exchanged hands on the lower levels, and no one on the higher levels was even sure he’d been leaving in the first place.

Title: I Never
Fandom: Forever
Pairing/Characters: Henry Morgan, Jo Martinez, Joanna Reece, Mike Hanson, Lucus Wahl
Summary: Henry agrees to be honest playing "Never Have I Ever."
Rating: PG-13
Length: Short (1,094 words)
Disclaimer: None of these characters belong to me.
Notes/Warnings:I'd set this sort of midway through the series? It's when I got the idea, though it took me forever (heh) to actually get it together.
Excerpt: Then came Henry’s turn. He had to think for a moment, then: “Never have I ever streamed a movie.” He even said ‘streamed’ like it was a word in a foreign language that he had picked up the meaning of in context but still wasn’t quite sure of.

Title: Tea For Four
Fandom: Cabin Pressure
Pairing/Characters: Martin Crieff, Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock Holmes, Excelsior Black
Summary: Martin has tea with his siblings.
Rating: PG
Length: Very short (365 words)
Disclaimer: These characters don't belong to me- only the silly idea!
Notes/Warnings: This little vignette shouldn't be taken too seriously, and yes- it's sort of AU. I just wanted Mycroft, Sherlock, Martin and Colonel Black to all be siblings and I was willing to ignore whatever I had to ignore in order to make that happen. I do imply that Martin was raised by other people, so it's still loosely canon at least. It's set early in the Cabin Pressure timeline. As is necessary with three shows that all have such very different tones, I had to pick one. I rounded up to Clone-typical behavior, so this is only PG (or G) rated as much as Clone is. Nobody dies, but respect for human life is not high.
Excerpt: "You might let us charter your firm to fly his… people… somewhere one day. To give your colleagues… perspective.”

Martin thought about that. Excelsior was nothing if not a giver of perspective, and Martin did want to get paid once in a while. At minimum, he wanted to get the cheese tray to himself once in a while.

Title: Nightscapes
Fandom: The Avengers
Pairing/Characters: Steve Rogers + Thor
Summary: Steve has trouble sleeping in the tower. He isn't the only one.
Rating: G
Length: Very short (565 words)
Disclaimer: None of these characters belong to me.
Notes/Warnings: Written as an [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo extra for insomnia and culture shock.
Excerpt: Everyone said he was integrating well, and for the most part Steve believed it- but sometimes he looked out the window and sketched what a part of him was still convinced was a set-piece from a science fiction film and he wasn’t sure he was integrating that well at all.

Title: The Miracle Dog
Fandom: Agents of SHIELD (Marvel Cinematic Universe)/Longmire/The Walt Longmire Mysteries
Pairing/Characters: Buddy, Henry Standing Bear, Omar Rhoades, Walt Longmire
Summary: Apparently, the dog shouldn't really be alive.  But he is.
Rating: PG
Length: Very Short (388 words)
Disclaimer: None of the characters you might recognize are mine.
Notes/Warnings: Though I'm sure I recall Ward's camp being in Wyoming, I don't remember if the setting was any more specific than that, and thus have no idea how much geography I'm hand-waving for this crossover. It's just something I wanted to try. I'm also sort of straddling book and tv canons for Longmire, as I am apparently wont to do.  I really just wanted to save Buddy, you guys. So I did.
Excerpt: Walt eyed the vet. “Well, if nobody takes him when he’s well enough to go to the shelter, I suppose the sheriff’s department could find use for a canine officer.”

Fandom: Justified
Subject: Ava Crowder
Title: Ready for the Fire
Warnings/Notes: Spoilers for seasons 1-3; mentions of violence.  S4 introduced an arc for Ava that I don't feel is finished, so I've limited this to the first three seasons; made for [livejournal.com profile] waywardmixes challenge #23 (Character Study).  This is a gen mix, but my Ava/Raylan and Ava/Boyd feels are definitely showing in the summary.  Apologies.

With that loaded shotgun, well/you'll always be left alone )

potentiality_26: (once upon a time)
Title: A Mad Tea Party
Fandom: Once Upon a Time
Pairing/Characters: Belle/Rumplestiltskin, Jefferson
Summary: Jefferson pays the Dark One a visit and things are not as he left.
Rating: PG
Length: Short (1,604 words)
Disclaimer: Once Upon a Time belongs to Disney and ABC.
Notes/Warnings: I've only just gotten around to watching any of S2, and this plot bunny grabbed me watching The Doctor.  It's based on the possibly already jossed idea that Jefferson was still traveling between worlds while Belle was living at Rumpelstiltskin's castle. It's a bit OOC, but I got a laugh out of writing it and hopefully someone else will get one reading it.
Excerpt: Rumple was, for lack of a better term, frazzled. Physically, he looked much the same- though maybe a trifle less scrawny- but he was definitely out of sorts. Twitchy. Well, twitchier. Rumple had never exactly been a poster boy for sanity, had he?

Fandom: The Wild Wild West
Subject: Episode #4.19, “The Night of the Pistoleros”
Title: So Darkness I Became
Warnings/Notes: Spoilers for the episode; explicit language in one song; made for [livejournal.com profile] waywardmixes challenge #16 (One Episode).

A wind that blows as cold as it gets/blew out the light of my soul )

potentiality_26: (stargate)
Title: Coffee and the Meaning of Life
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1/Torchwood
Pairing/Characters: Daniel Jackson, Ianto Jones, Janus
Summary: Or, how Ianto Jones ascended.
Rating: PG
Length: Short (1,504 words)
Disclaimer: Torchwood belongs to the BBC and Stargate belongs to MGM
Notes/Warnings: Set during Children of the Earth and SG-1 season six, contains spoilers for those seasons but is not compliant with anything in the Torchwood canon post COE.
Excerpt: "It's ascending a few people, Janus," the handsome man said serenely.

“It’s ascending almost a
hundred people, Daniel,” the man in the beige pajamas snapped.  “This is not a good idea.”
