I've decided to do a "top 10 12 'new' fandoms I'd like to write something for this year" list. Some are actually new fandoms, while most are old favorites I've just never posted fics for. Of course I have no idea what the muse will bring this year -- but it's fun to set goals!

Pride and Prejudice! I'm always writing parodies of that but never anything serious.

I love the book Rivals but haven't got to see the TV version yet.

I have a couple of ideas but nothing I've been able to get down in writing yet, so we'll see.

I haven't read the book myself, but I might try to. The show definitely compelled me!

Yes if you didn't know, the author Jilly Cooper has written a whole series about Rupert Campbell-Black, starting with Riders which was published in the 1980s. I bought the first few of them the moment they came out, I was addicted. But as time passed, my attention span and eyesight waned and I didn't buy the later ones (and actually I don't think they were as well written) I enjoyed Riders, Rivals (my favourite), Polo, The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous, Appassionata, Score! They are all very long books so take a bit of commitment. She also wrote a series of short romances, I particularly enjoyed Imogen; Prudence; Lisa & co.

Sorry if you know all this already! But Jilly was one of my favourite escapist authors, and she died suddenly last year after falling down stairs, which made me very sad 😢
