Shipping Meme Day Nine

I feel like this phrasing has a slightly different connotation than, say, "A ship you don't like" or something to that effect, but I still haven't worked out what exactly I think that means. Also, it's even harder to pull one ship I don't like out of a hat than it is one I do. So, since it's been on my mind lately: Robin Hood. I was totally a Guy/Marian shipper, but I understood Robin/Marian. It's historical, it's sweet... I'd never search for/produce fanworks for it, but I got it. And then came S3, and no Marian. And Robin had this thing with this girl the show made up- nowhere in the folklore- Kate. It was really terrible. I was watching the show with a friend who was a heavy Robin/Marian shipper, and she hated Robin/Kate even more than I did. I don't know what they were thinking.
