Note: I have a complicated relationship with BBC Robin Hood.  Know that before proceeding.

How I feel about this character: Okay, so, the first time I watched Robin Hood, I had just developed a giant crush on Richard Armitage after seeing North and South.  I still have a crush on Richard Armitage, but that's neither here nor there.  I think it's natural that when you get into a show for an actor/actress, the character that actor/actress plays is the one you become most strongly attached to, and that was Guy for me.  The second time I watched it, it was with a friend and I had enough to distance to admit that yeah, Guy's kind of a jerk.  But I also love him.  A lot.
My het ship: Guy/Marian
My fem/slash ship: I have a fondness for Guy/Robin (with a side note of Guy/Marian/Robin now everyone can be happy shut up), but I like Allan/Guy quite a bit too.
Any OTP? I do really love Guy/Marian.  It's been a while, but I shipped it hard back in the day.
My non-romantic ship for this character: His dynamic is the Sheriff is fascinating to me.
Any unpopular opinions? Guy/Marian is certainly unpopular in certain circles.  The friend I watched the show with the second time really shipped Marian/Robin, and the two camps are pretty thoroughly irreconcilable- or, at least, they were until after S2 ended.  We could both agree that ending- and everything that came after- pissed us off.  (I'm not over it, in case you couldn't tell.)
My favorite plot-line for this character: As much as S3 annoyed me- Kate, Archer, the lack of consistency with S1- I really loved the episodes where Guy and Robin worked together.  Under better circumstances, that could have been epic.  As it was, it was still pretty cool.
Something I wish would happen/had happened to this character: I wish he could have been happy.  I mean, he did bad things and maybe he was just a bad person so I'm going to sound like an apologist, but I really think he was redeemable under the right circumstances.  I remember always wishing he would just ride out of Nottingham and not come back.  He could have built a life somewhere and he could have been a good person, but between the Sheriff pulling him one way and Marian pulling him the other, it was never going to happen.
A crossover ship or interaction I would love to see for this character: This is tough because of the period, but there's always Doctor Who, right?  He could go off with a Time Lord, then, and not come back.
A head canon fact: Head canon doesn't really work that way, but I just want to make the whole history between Robin and Guy S3 plot-line disappear.  I mean, if that had been the story from the start I might have even liked it, but they had so clearly never seen each other before in the first season that this random "they knew each other as children" crap annoyed me.  I know shows get written as they go, I know the writers don't always have a plan, but I like the illusion of a plan.  This killed that illusion.
