My favorite character: Henry
My least favorite character: This used to be Branch, but now I'm thinking Ferg
Most attractive character: Matthias really does it for me
Funniest character: Walt when he goes into smartass mode
A character I would kill off/remove: Ferg. I don't actively hate him, but the show really wouldn't lose anything without him.
A character I would bring back: I can't make up my mind if I miss Branch or not.
5 ships I like: Henry/Walt, Henry/Vic. Henry/Vic/Walt, Henry/Branch, Henry/Matthias. I'm down for Henry with anyone frankly
A random thought: I liked being able to binge-watch the most recent season on Netflix.
An unpopular opinion: I don't know if it's unpopular or not, but the high stakes long term plotlines are not my favorite part of the show. I watch for the characters and I don't love seeing them get put through the ringer. It would be nice if things were more laid back
My canon OTP: I'm not too thrilled by any of the canon pairings
Non-canon OTP: Henry/Walt
Most badass character: Hmm- Henry, maybe? I think Jacob Nighthorse is pretty badass in his way
Pairing I am not a fan of: Vic/Walt. I don't hate it, but I find the execution of it rather clumsy
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Henry. Don't get me wrong, he's my favorite character on the show, but he's even cooler in the books.
Favorite friendship: Also Walt and Henry. I love Henry and Cady's dynamic as well.
Favorite thing about the canon universe: It's just so different from all the other garden variety mystery shows out there. I love the setting and the racial politics and how the characters all fit together in that world.

I'm sorry, I know that feeling. It can be hard to keep enjoying something you used to share with someone who is gone, but it's a way to feel close to them too. I hope you can find the fun in it again.

For Mystrade:

When I started shipping it if I did: I know I had read a couple fics with it before, but I didn't start actively shipping it until S3
My thoughts: I think it's fascinating how big this ship got before they had even interacted just because some people thought they might be good together
What makes me happy about them: I actually love that the relationship itself is mostly fanon; there's so much room to play that way
What makes me sad about them: The flip side of the above is that there's very little visual material to work with- not that that has stopped some people from making awesome vids and gif sets
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Mycroft and Sherlock's relationship is really important to me and a lot of Mystrade fics really oversimplify it. Sometimes it'll just sort of be like "Sherlock is childish and hates Mycroft" and I think they have a prickly but ultimately still loving relationship. Seriously, the first time I read a Mycroft/Sherlock fic it was because I had read one too many fics acting like they couldn't stand each other. (Sorry. I have Opinions about this)
Things I look for in fanfic: I'm so into not-actually-unrequited pining fic. It's my go-to in any fandom.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Maybe Molly, for either of them? I like happily ever afters and she deserves one too.
My happily ever after for them: Heh. I can picture them sort of falling into a relationship and then looking around five years on and realizing it's worked out rather well.
Who is the big spoon/little spoon: I have trouble picturing Mycroft cuddling, tbh.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Sherlock wrangling, lol?

Ohhh, love your answers here!! And yes, the dismissiveness of the Mycroft and Sherlock dynamic in any fiction irritates me. I have a tendency to read Mylock myself to get around it. :D

But Mystrade is rather my OTP besides the main OTP for this fandom. And yes, Lestrade and Molly are rather sweet as well!

How I feel about this character: I love him

My unpopular opinion about this character: Hmmm... I didn't dig the mutton chops in TAB, but I don't know of anyone who loved them.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I'd like to see him solving his own cases more, but then it wouldn't exactly be Sherlock, would it?
My OTP: Mystrade
My cross over ship: Well, crossovers with James Bond are super popular and I'd like to see Lestrade feature more prominently, especially working with some of the more long-suffering characters, like Moneypenny or M. I think I could ship him with either of them.
A headcanon fact: Whether I'm looking at them in a shippy capacity or not, I fervently believe he and Mycroft have always conspired to keep Sherlock busy.

I'll get to the next one when I can :)

Gosh, yes!! I'm not overly fond of Sally, but I do like the rapport she has with Lestrade and the mutual respect between the two.

Ohhh...those crossovers sound fascinating. May have to peek in on one myself, even as I'm not a Bond-person.

See, I disliked Sally until S3, where she didn't really interact with John and Sherlock at all and was just a competent second in command. Then I figured anything about that side of her was worth checking out.

I wrote one a while back when it seemed like they were everywhere. There's some good fics.

A character I would kill off/remove: I'm still not clear if he's really dead or not, but I'd like to be done with Moriarty. He was never my favorite.
A character I would bring back: I'd like to see Mike Stamford again.
5 ships I like: Mycroft/Lestrade, Mycroft/Sherlock, Mycroft/Molly, Mycroft/Anthea, Mycroft/John (are you sensing a pattern here?)
A random thought: I haven't read any fic for this fandom in a while, I should see what's new.
An unpopular opinion: I like Mary. I think she was a really cool twist on the canon character.
My canon OTP: Uh... John and Mary, I guess?
Non-canon OTP: Mystrade, although it's really not an OTP when I like Mylock almost as much.
Most badass character: Mary, maybe? I'm hoping she turns out to be Moran. That would be really cool.
Pairing I am not a fan of: John/Sherlock, although this is a case of literally not being a fan. I don't mind it, I'll even read fic now and again, but I don't care about it deeply the way I know a lot of people do.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Irene. I like her a lot on Sherlock, but when you look at Irene Adler in the books, she a) actually out thinks Holmes and wins and b) is a better fleshed out opponent than Moriarty. Like I said, I don't actively dislike her on the show, I just think she could have been so much more.
Favorite friendship: Mrs. Hudson and John and/or Sherlock. I love that dynamic.
Favorite thing about the canon universe: I find the modern interpretations of all the characters so cool.

Strangely enough, though I love John/Sherlock, I don't actively seek it out and it really has to grab me to have me read it. I prefer UST between them in many ways, lol!!
