I know not too many of my friends here on LJ are into Kingsman and/or interested in seeing spoilers for the sequel, but those who are should check this out.  Apparently it's a t-shirt some of the crew members are wearing and I love it.  A) the art is amazing and B) if it's really representative of what the movie will be like I am beyond excited. As always, I'm trying not to get my hopes up but oh. my. god.

I'm also really excited for Star Trek Discovery.  We don't know much about it yet- and I'm not sure how I'm going to watch it (having to pay for CBS' new website sounds dumb)- but every once in a while it hits me that I'm getting new Star Trek soon and I just give a little squeal.  I enjoy the reboot movies, but it's just not the same as getting a new show with a new cast and crew.  I can't wait!

It's not very convenient for me to watch something as it airs (and I don't have cable and I can't DVR) so normally I watch my shows online and I gather this one will only be available to people with a CBS all access subscription.

I find it hard to believe that it won't actually air on CBS, but when the show was first announced it was implied that it would only ever be available through the website, so I just don't know for sure.

We just record it with the DVR and watch it later. Honestly, usually I watch it WAY after the fact.

It just seems silly to do it that way. I mean they are isolating a lot of people from seeing it. Usually shows that are only on way place tend to be pirated more anyway. I dunno.

Yeah, it seems really silly. It's should be obvious to networks by now that making their shows harder to watch isn't better.

EYEPATCH. Holy mother of god. As if he needed to give off MORE of a sexy danger vibe. Also hnnnng Eggsy and Harry being a ridiculously compatible double act in fight scenes is like the one thing I was dying to see and which the first film didn't deliver. Keeping every single thing crossed, damn.

Not to mention that one of them is - theoretically - going to be dealing with a considerable loss of field of vision + spatial/depth perception. The film will prob ignore that but I shall be happily dreaming of them adapting their combat style to accommodate it.

I wasn't as into the film as you and I am not sure if I will see the new one, but I am sure I will tune in for fanfiction <3 I hope the film ends up being to your liking!

I'm really looking forward to Star Trek Discovery too! I hope it's fun, interesting, has a good set of characters and stories to tell :D

I hope so too. What's nice about a new Star Trek show is that they don't have to do all the initial world-building, it's already there so they can jump right into the story.
