Dreamwidth question

Does anyone know if you can import new entries to dreamwidth after you've imported your journal already?

I really wish livejournal cross-posted to dreamwidth, because posting here was much easier for me while I was doing the meme (compared to posting on dreamwidth and cross-posting here), and now I'm really behind.

Ooh good question, I should probably import mine again at some point as I always post from LJ which doesn't allow for cross-posting

All you can't do is update an entry. So if, like me, you have masterlists that you add to, you need to delete the old copies on DW before seeing a new import running.

That makes sense. Luckily I don't have too many masterlists to update, so doing it here and on then DW won't be too inconvenient.

The easiest thing is probably to just update the LJ one, but then remember to delete the DW ones before running another backup. But I guess if you;re going to cross post from DW rather than just back up, then you will need to update both manually.

I'm thinking that since I'm going to do a backup anyway, I'll just delete the DW versions beforehand like you say- but in the future when I'm not behind I'm probably going to try just update both manually.

Yeah, I remembered to post over on DW like twice before I started forgetting- and, since this is where I check my f-list and the site I'm used to using, it would be a lot more convenient to cross-post from here.
