Guess who's been forgetting to post regularly again?  It's me!

I'm going to do a post for the shows I'm watching soon.  I'm mainly keeping up with Lucifer (on hiatus until May, sadly, but they got picked up for a third season, so I'm happy about that) and Shadowhunters, but I watched A Series of Unfortunate Events and The OA, I'm just getting caught up on Ripper Street, and I've started Frontier.  So this is my reminder to myself to do that.

What character archetype am I attracted to?

Whether my favorite character ends up being more of an anti-hero or a regular hero kind of varies, but if a character a) has a dry/sarcastic sense of humor and b) a dark/tragic past, that person is almost always my favorite.

First ever ship and why.

This is hard to answer because when I first got into fandom (and to a certain extent to this day) I didn't get obsessed with ships so much as characters. When I have a very favorite character, I'll happily read fics pairing them with pretty much anyone. So my first OTP was Jeeves/Wooster, but that came later. My first fandom was Harry Potter, and Remus Lupin was my favorite, and I really did happily ship him with anyone so I can't really tell you who the first was. And as to why... *points to previous answer*

For me, for some shows I have an otp but for some I just ship my preferred character with everyone.

Character death you still haven’t moved on yet?

Jadzia Dax and Tasha Yar. I mean, if I loved a character and they died I will probably get bitter about it whenever if I look back on the show they're from (I'm that way with Torchwood in particular), but the 90s Treks were so important to me during my formative years, and those two deaths hit me so hard that I just don't think I'll ever completely let go.

Most loathed character. EVER.

This is tough for me because I try not to focus too much on the things that I don't like, and honestly if I hate someone in a show enough for them to be my most loathed EVER, I'll probably just stop watching it. So while I'm watching something I could tell you who I'm really grinding my teeth over, but looking back I usually don't care that much. Of the shows I'm watching right now I find Jace and Clary on Shadowhunters both pretty annoying, but not irredeemably so.

Favorite villain/s.

I like the Master on Doctor Who a lot.

A character you used to love but eventually hated or vice-versa.

I don't know if I ever loved him- more like thought he was okay- but I've liked John Watson on Sherlock less and less as the series has gone on. It reached a fever pitch in S4.

Ezri Dax is a character I learned to like very much the second time I watched DS9, but I hated her when she was first introduced. I'm still angry about losing Jadzia (see above), but I've learned not to blame that on Ezri so much anymore.

I also definitely agree about John. At this point I don't even read fics in which he appears.

I haven't read any Sherlock fic since S4, but I would probably avoid fics with John too at this point.

I haven't even seen S4 (I was told what happens in it and it was enough for me to decide that I don't want to see it).
I kind of quit this fandom after S3, really. I don't even read fanfics very often anymore *sigh*

I was probably at my most interested in Sherlock directly post S3, but by the time S4 came along I was pretty over it, and from a character perspective it was just not good.

Martin Crieff (sp?) from Cabin Pressure reminds me of me to an unsettling degree.

Of all time, I'm assuming? Profit, Star Trek (I can't really pick between Voyager and DS9, and I love all the Treks so I'm just grouping them together), and Stargate SG-1.

Dream crossover?

Probably Sherlock/James Bond, just because there are so many versions of this that's it's almost become it own genre.

Kind of a weird mix, but it's really hard to pick favorites so I just went with the three I have lovingly reread the most often.
