What I've been given to understand is that mentioning LGBT stuff is not technically against the new rules, but that it must be marked as "adult content" no matter what it is. So like a lesbian mentioning holding hands with her girlfriend is adult content now.

That's pretty uncomfortable IMO. There's also the fact that on LJ's main post about how this was still an international blogging platform and that not too much would change- and on most of the posts the LJ staff have made since then- a lot of users who talk about LGBT issues or being LGBT have asked if they have anything to worry about with the new TOS, and instead of being answered their questions were deleted.

So far I haven't heard anything about wholesale deletions, but it's worth being wary of, I think.
