01. What's the largest fandom you've ever been part of?
Probably Kingsman? I've been on the sidelines of evenbigger fandoms like the MCU or Harry Potter- but you know how it is when you consume a little of a fandom and maybe even produce a little for the fandom but you don't feel like you're really in? With Kingsman I was definitely in- meeting people, being on recs lists, getting tagged for memes... It's why I ended up devoting my time to tumblr almost exclusively for a while, because that fandom was so active there and so sweet. I tend to favor smaller fandoms, so while a lot of people in the Kingsman fandom actually thought of it as small, it was quite big for me. Of my ten most popular/most kudo'd fics, seven of them are from that fandom.
02. What's the smallest fandom you've ever been part of?
It's hard to say 'ever' because it's tough to quantify, but lately I've been writing fics for Thorne, which is a kind of mini-series that aired in 2010, and I basically am the fandom. There are couple of people talking to me about it and reading my fics, one of whom I dragged into it in the first place, but I'm pretty much the only one writing. The only fics for my favorite ship in English on AO3 are the fics I wrote. It's miniscule.
(Speaking of which, Aidan Gillen plays my favorite character in Thorne, and I've been looking at fics for a lot of the non-Game of Thrones things he's been in, and as soon as I filter for language most of them disappear. I think he's big in China)
03. What's your oldest fandom love?
My first major fandom was probably Harry Potter, like a lot of people.
04. What's your newest fandom love?
The Exorcist, which is a smaller fandom but the people seem really great so far. I'm aware that I need to stop telling people how it's totally not scary because it kind of is, I just don't really think of it that way because everything is so story-driven, rather than scares for the sake of scares or gore for the sake of gore. Anyway, it's got a great complex story, amazing characters (my favorite character has the worst life, you guys, the angst is off the charts), and it's very diverse. I love everything about it.
05. Do you mainly read/write/draw/vid Gen, M/F, F/F or M/M?
Very generally speaking I gravitate to M/M and find Gen a bit boring, but I'm down for all of the above and various poly ships as well; it just depends what speaks to me in canon.
06. If you ship, are you more of a OTP, Little Black dress or multi-shipper type of shipper?
I'm definitely more of a Little Black dress shipper. There are fandoms where I'll have a single OTP and fandoms where I will happily ship everything all the time, but my approach is most often of the little black dress variety. I'll fall for a character more than a ship, and then I will be down to pair that character with almost anyone. It's one thing that almost cramps my multi-shipping style, actually, because I almost always have one ship that I like most for my favorite character, even as I also like many others, and I won't be interested in seeing that character with anyone else. Like in Kingsman I liked Harry with pretty much everyone, but Harry/Eggsy was my favorite, and I could not handle Eggsy being with anyone else at all. Probably why I'm not in that fandom so much anymore. *coughs*
07. What's your favourite genre/type of story?
I really like good-old classic Character A is in love with Character B, thinks Character B could never possibly feel the same way, pines tragically, finds out Character B does feel the same way via some tropey scenario, and happy endings and mind-blowing sex are had all around. I'll of course branch out sometimes, since plenty of great fics don't follow that pattern, but it is what I'll always like best. Happily that's probably the most common type of fic there is.
08. What rating do you prefer your stories to be?
I do tend to favor the higher rated fics because (as implied above) I find a sex scene toward the end to be really... like... cathartic and stuff. I don't let a fic being teen or even general audiences stop me from reading it if it sounds interesting to me, though- it's just a consideration.
I would love to hear about others' thoughts/experiences!

Same. Especially after a slow-burn such as what was stated above, having a good sex scene is such a great payoff. Not that it needs to be mandatory, it's just as you said, it's cathartic as a reader. I also love fics where there is no sex involved (or it's implied it happened during a ~fade to black~ moment) that still offers the same kind of catharsis in terms of characters getting together, but sometimes you just needs that little something of things getting heated towards the end, y'know what I mean? ;)
