So...

1) I saw an ad for "Soylent Squared" (protein bars, I guess they are?) and spent the longest time going "is this a joke? or are these people not aware of Soylent Green?"  Now possibly soylent as a name for protein bars predates Soylent Green (possibly it's soy + lentil, I'm not curious enough to check) but like... maybe don't call it that lol?

2) I may have complained about summer too soon.  It's frickin' snowing.

3) The 'e' on my keyboard has gotten weird.  Even the smallest pressure and there'll be six e's.  None of the other keys do it, just that one.

Soylent is named after a food in Harry Harrison's 1966 science fiction novel Make Room! Make Room![11][12] In the novel, most types of soylent are made from soy and lentils. The word also evokes the 1973 film adaptation Soylent Green, in which the eponymous food is made from human remains.[8] Rhinehart also says he chose the name, with its morbid associations, to pique curiosity and deeper investigation, since the name was clearly not chosen with a traditionally "flashy" marketing scheme in mind.[13]

I can't imagine looking at those bars and the name and going 'yeah, this is something I want to buy and eat'.

Agreed.
