A show that disappointed you
There are a couple of ways to take this one, and I'm doing one for each.
Torchwood: I really don't have words for how much I loved this show when I loved it, but it went very downhill, very fast, and basically killed everything I'd loved about it- often literally. I know some people thought COE was brilliant storytelling even if they didn't like how the story ended, and that's fair, but I'm not really one of those people. I didn't enjoy it on basically any level, and though it had good moments I generally felt that the lack of consistency with the previous seasons was downright offensive to fans of the show. Though- as I mentioned somewhere earlier- I haven't seen Miracle Day, I gather it went even further downhill there.
The Pacific: I think Band of Brothers was a beautiful, amazing, wonderfully acted and scripted mini-series- and that The Pacific was nowhere near on the same level. It wasn't bad, but I did find it disappointing. In Band of Brothers I came to know and respect every one of those men- in The Pacific, I could hardly tell them apart or keep track of their stories.
