A character you don't like seeing paired with anyone else:

I suppose this could mean a character I only like gen with, but it's hard to think of one off the top of my head.  Like a lot of people, shippy fic is at least 90% of what I read, so if I'm reading fic for a character, I usually have at least one ship for them.  So I'm taking this to mean a character I only like one pairing for.

So, I'm in a minority here, but I really only like Jack Harkness with Ianto.  I mean, he gets an exception for Real!Jack because that guy is so sweet and gorgeous and perfect and guh- everybody gets him as an exception.   I like Ianto with other people, mainly John Hart and maybe Ten (there are some awesome Ianto/Real!Jack fics out there too, FYI), but Jack... not so much.  I don't really know why, because lots of people ship Jack with pretty much everyone, and that makes sense.

I'm with you here, Jack/Ianto all the way with allowance for Jack/Jack just because it was heart-breakingly beautiful :) I've never read much in this fandom and not for many, many years, but if I were to read it would be Jack/Ianto and probaby a fix-it-fic. I loved these two together!

I haven't read any Torchwood for a while, either. But Jack/Ianto fix-its were all I read there for a while.

Looking back on Torchwood, the feelings are mixed, but I do miss it.
