Yes and no, on Tom. See, no, the pre-Tom is a bad guy episodes weren't suddenly in a different light for me- but not in a "they clearly didn't have the actor playing Tom as a bad guy from the start" sort of way, if that makes sense. I think that's all down to how he played Tom after Lizzie found out he was a bad guy, but before he started acting like one to her.
Right when you're reeling after the realization that he's a bad guy- the same way Lizzie is- everything he does has a really creepy vibe to it. But with the distance of seeing it coming all through the show, I realized that he actually still seemed like a perfectly nice guy- so, as I see it, Tom is meant to be just that good at playing innocent.
