Recently a_phoenixdragon did a fun looking meme where she posted one sentence from all the WIPs she’s mainly working on right now. I’m pretty sure I’d break LJ with all my WIPs, but I still kind of want to play. So, anyone who’s curious about what I’ve got going on right now can ask me for a fandom and/or pairing, and I’ll give you an excerpt from one such piece of writing- probably a snippet I really like rather than just one sentence, because I'm crap at choosing things. I’m mainly working on fics featuring the following (for reference, Character Name/? means I ship and write this character more characters than I care to list, usually both het and slash, so go ahead and try me):

The Hobbit: Bilbo/Thorin
Justified: Ava/Boyd/Raylan and Rachel/Raylan/Tim
Longmire: Henry/? and Henry-centric gen with Martha/Walt or Vic/Walt in the background
Marvel Cinematic Universe: Bucky/Steve, Clint/Phil
The Musketeers: OT3, OT4, Athos/? and some Aramis/Porthos
Once Upon a Time: Belle/Rumplestiltskin, Aurora/Mulan
Sherlock: Mycroft/? and some John/Sherlock
Star Trek Deep Space Nine: Bashir/Garak, some Kira/Odo but mostly as a side-order
Welcome to Night Vale: Carlos/Cecil
The Wild Wild West: This WIP folder is a fucking monster, and one with which I am not on speaking terms at the moment, but go ahead and poke it if you wish
X-Men: Charles/Erik

I have do in fact have fic for a mess of other fandoms lurking here and there and semi-forgotten, so if you want to try me with some other fandoms you can, I might have something somewhere.

“So,” Natasha began. “Have you learned anything new?”

“Obscenities in several languages,” Steve replied.

“Okay... Not what I was thinking of, but it’s something, I suppose.” Natasha sounded unusually flustered, which for her was only fraction away from completely impassive, but Steve had picked a few things up, hadn’t he? Speaking of which, several such obscenities rang through the apartment.

Steve sighed. “I have to go, Natasha. I’ll talk to you later, all right?”

“Yeah,” she agreed, and hung up.

Picking the last few bits of Bucky’s first breakfast off his face and clothing, Steve put the finishing touches on the second one and made his way back into the lion’s den.
