The thing about doing this meme is that I keep thinking of other ships for the different days after the fact. Like, I'm finally getting around to watching S7 of Murdoch Mysteries, and either I'd forgotten what James Pendrick/Murdoch does to me, or I only just realized that it is slashy. I love Murdoch with Julia and everything, but damn. I really would have done it for "a ship only you seem to like" if I'd thought of it at the time, but it turns out I'm not the only one. There's a tag for it on AO3 and everything. Except for the fact that the last time I looked for fic for that show there were like four, I shouldn't really be surprised it's out there. Pendrick totally has a thing for Murdoch. I mean, Murdoch has ruined his life repeatedly, and Pendrick still seems extremely fond of him. It is love, I tell you.

Best scene ever

This is a pretty terrible question. I mean maybe- maybe- I could put together a list with my favorite scene from every show I've ever loved, but then we'd be here forever, so I won't. I do not have an absolute favorite scene, so I'm just going to do a favorite scene from the five shows I've already mentioned, and call it good. These might not really be my number one favorites from those shows, and they certainly aren't really my top five scenes ever ever, but hey- what can you do?

Now, I also wanted to add a question: Best story arc

It's also hard, but I have a couple that I wanted to highlight, and looking ahead I couldn't find any question that could give me a good chance to. I'm tagging it onto the scenes question because some of the favorite scenes I'd thought of initially were only as good as they were because of the build of the story arc around them.

A show that needs more viewers

The Murdoch Mysteries is a lovely, light-hearted Canadian mystery series set in the Victorian era; it's filled with quirky characters, unabashed anachronistic humor, an interesting and innovative storylines that often remind me Castle's more unconventional episodes. The hero is clever but adorably (rather than abrasively) awkward with people- especially the forward-thinking and modern lady medical examiner he loves- and his assistant and boss are both just as entertaining. This is definitely my feel-good show, people.

It's in its seventh season, but it's always walking the cancelled/not cancelled line, so anyone who thinks that this might be their cup of tea should get on the bandwagon while it's still around.
