Make a list of fannish and/or creative resources. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I gave myself some time to think about this one since most of my fannish time is spent either on AO3 or on the Wayback Machine looking for lost sites from back in the day (which, If you haven't heard of one of those, I'll... link you? I guess?).

In the end I'll just give Scrivener a mention.

I bought it not too long ago, and it really is a game-changing writing app, especially if you write in nonlinear small bites like I do.

ETA: Oooh, oooh!  Check out Perchance. Very easy to use site for making your own list/prompt/etc generators.

If I ever decide to write again, I will give Scrivener a closer look.

For more than a decade, I was in an old fandom with many defunct and disappeared website, with more and more disappearing every year. Thank the gods for the Wayback Machine. We were luckier than most. Though there were many individual websites--it was the nineties--we also had a central archive--and the people who created it, have kept it up and running. They stopped updating it in 2012 but still, that's a lot of fic. We have a fandom librarian, as she calls herself, who saved many of the specialty archives, and moved them to her own server.

I've looked at Perchance lots of times before, but somehow your link set me off today - I have now spent a silly amount of time making this: https://perchance.org/j3q7ztl8uj

(What was I supposed to be doing? XD)

I too adore Scrivener! Can't even remember how long I've been using it, but it's definitely made writing longer, more complicated stories soooo much easier 🤩

Perchance looks super neat! Adding it to my list of sites to explore in more depths in the future 😊
