Only about 1k, I'm afraid. I posted that Astraelle ficlet and I worked a little bit on my bingo, but it wasn't much. Mostly I've been Trying Times journalling, and fiddling around with a superhero TTRPG.

I've elected not to really explain my opinions about these in an effort to get this post off the ground, but feel free to ask if you're curious.

All my love for This is How You Lose the Time War 💙❤️💙❤️ Which was your favorite strange way to leave a message/letter? Mine is the one where the message is revealed when they saw down a tree and the words are shown in the rings of the tree.

Is the superhero TTRPG a thing you're making yourself, or are you prepping to play/DM?

Yeah, the tree rings one is what I remember best too!

It's something I'm working on myself. Not sure what I'll do with it after it's finished, but I'm having fun right now!

That's so cool! Have you picked a specific system for it, are you making your own, or is it system agnostic?

I'm making a system that borrows from a few others, particularly Blades in the Dark and City of Mist, both of which have a lot of cool superhero hacks but weren't quite what I wanted.

I'm also using a few worldbuilding games like Microscope for inspiration, because I love superhero stuff where the city and the hero(es) have a really strong relationship to each other (like Batman and Gotham) and I think it would be cool to do a session zero where the whole group helps shape the city and make some decisions about what kind of world they want to play in (like, is it near-real world, is there magic and/or alien life, etc) before they make their characters.

All of that sounds so intriguing, I love it!! Especially about the players co-building their superheroes' setting and city together, that is such a great idea 💖💖💖 Hope you have a lot of fun while making the game!

Thank you! It's on a back-burner now that I've been writing more fanfiction (there's only so much time for one's hobbies, alas), but I'm having fun with it!
