Hubby was talking about our Shows and how most of them have that up and down feel to them: several episodes of absorbing plot and a few sprinkled in to distract, deflect and decompress. Blacklist doesn't have that. It doesn't have too much too soon and it keeps it steady - laying that hammer down with insight after insight and it is just so damned MARVELOUS. A unique and gripping show.
