Question

Would any of my OUAT friends like to volunteer to let me bounce of ideas off them for a Rumbelle fic?  I have some good character study/introspection stuff already finished, but the prompt I'm writing to more or less requires it to be a futurefic, and I'm having trouble envisioning it.  Anyone want to chat about it with me?

:) I don't want you to worry about it if you get busy, so think of this as more an 'if you already have views on the subject and time to share them...' type of question than anything.

When I write a future fic I normally have an ideal "someday" in mind, where things have calmed down and there are no more crises and everything is dandy and domestic. I want that for Rumbelle like you wouldn't believe, but I can't seem to picture it because I don't know if they should end up back in Fairytale land (or if that's even possible) or if they would be in Storybrooke, or maybe even somewhere else.

Any opinions? It doesn't usually take much to get me thinking, I'm just a little stuck with this.

I would give them the ability to do both. I've always suspected The Dark One was faerie. So there is no reason he shouldn't be able to step into both worlds when the dust settles. He did that everywhere else just fine. Just needs to establish a doorway. After all, there is always need for his services in both realms...

And Belle could be the good cop to his bad cop. Got a rep to maintain after all!!

Heh. I do very much like the notion of Rumple going back to his old deal making ways (only with Belle there to monitor him and make sure he actually does right by people). That could be fun.

You know, I've had this tab open for ages now and I can't think of an ideal "Someday" happy ever after for these two either! That never even occurred to me before. Maybe it's because we've mostly seen them in Storybrooke. My gut says FTL. Maybe that's because I feel like the core of who they are is formed in a place very different from our modern world. Maybe it's cause Belle ROCKED those gorgeous dresses :)
