So I've been rewatching Voyager, right?

potentiality_26I've also been rewatching DS9, but since my DS9 rewatch has been mainly Garak episodes it's going quite a bit faster and I'm still in S1 of Voyager. And maybe it's something to do with my Garak redux DS9 rewatch, but I have to say that
I actually kind of feel sorry for Seska.
I mean, yeah, she teamed up with the Kazon and that wasn't cool and I know she does a lot of weird things later on, but think about it. There she was, doing her bit for Cardassia and pretending to be a Bajoran and informing on the Maquis, and suddenly she's on the other side of the galaxy. And yeah, they're all on the other side of the galaxy, but she's surrounded by people who aren't exactly going to be kind to her if they find out who she really is.
And I'm pretty sure self preservation is one of the top Cardassian virtues, so from her point of view she totally made the right call.
I'm just saying.
