Watching Sleepy Hollow last night

I haven't got my thoughts together enough to do a post on the ep (also, I still haven't seen last week's episode and I plan to do that first) but I did see a promo for a new show.  I didn't catch the title, just that it was from the creators of Bones and OMG I'm so exicted for another show about an unshaven misanthrophic white guy! *needs a sarcasm font*

I liked House in its heyday as much as anyone, but eventually someone has to come to the conclusion while they're putting together their promo for a show about an abrasive jerk and telling us how fun it will be to spend on hour of our time every week watching him be abrasive and jerkish that a) this has been done before, like, done to death and b) maybe it's time for something new?

Ugh...so basically, they're trying to resurrect House? *Sigh*

Well, it's a police procedural (surprise surprise) instead of the at least somewhat fresh medical mystery spin, but from what I could see it was otherwise 100% House.

The sad thing is that some of the supporting characters did look interesting to me, and I'm tired of watching shows for the supporting characters.
