I finished reading "A Hero At the End of the World"

If you haven't heard of it, it's the first book released by Big Bang Press, which publishes (or was made to publish, I guess) original fiction by fanfiction writers.

It was funny and a generally enjoyable read, and it had a racially diverse cast (the kind you just don't see much of in the fantasy genre) and a couple of really cute romances.

I highly reccomend it, and the press really deserves as much attention as it can get.

I like the idea of a press that's focused on OW's from fic writers.

It's a great idea, because those writers really do have an audience already, it's just not one that mainstream publishers really appreciate.
