I saw The Man from UNCLE

It was pretty hit or miss as far as remakes go (Illya got a personality transplant, right?  It wasn't just me?) but it was also a fun movie and I enjoyed it.

I wish I could track down a post I saw on tumblr back when the trailer first came out that said that Henry Cavill must be the straightest man on the planet because despite all the subtext they couldn't seen any slashy chemistry at all.  Having seen the movie (and as a Napolean/Illyra shipper from way back), I have to say that it's really, really true.  I did not pick up a single vibe.

I'm not too surprised. Like I said, I think it was a solid movie, but maybe not so great if you go in feeling strongly about the show?
