Which Discworld books are your favourite and why?
This is another tough one. I like all the books that focus on the witches, so if you mean it in that sense those are my favorites. Lords and Ladies most of all, probably, but I think they're all good ones. Part of the reason I favor those books is that a long time ago a friend of mine who liked the series started calling me Granny Weatherwax, and I checked out the books to see what that was about and she ended up being my favorite character. I think her dynamic with Nanny Ogg is just so beautiful and entertaining.
I also really like Hogfather. It's such a great concept and there are so many awesome moments in it.
Anybody who wants to add a question can do so here. There's definitely room for more!

The books about the witches are also really great if you like female driven stories (there are women of all ages and lots of great female friendships in them).
Like I said Lords and Ladies is my favorite, but Maskerade is the first one I read and it was very good too (I seem to remember it having some City Watch characters in it as well, though I could be wrong).
