Spoiler levels will vary, since in some cases I'm still not quite current, but just to be safe.

I'm not quite current yet.  I'm getting there, just not fast enough to see about this Thor tie-in.  Woe.  Anyway, I'm enjoying it- but I wonder if they're at risk of over-hyping the question of what happened to Coulson.  I'm trying to keep away from fic at the moment because reading fan speculation on these things before the truth is revealed rarely does me good.  Though now that I say it, I wanna know what people think is going on.

I'm almost current here, and I just saw Time Will Tell.  Episode in general: very cool.  Botched Doctor Who reference: Boo.  I like the way Castle does episodes like this where it gives everything a real world explanation and then hints that it doesn't actually explain everything, and I loved SF concept of the ep.  I'd totally watch that show.

But billions of people are going to die, and they have to send someone to stop it- so they send Morgan Grimes?  Really?  All the same, it was fun to see him again.

Yes, I'm late to the party.  What else is new?  Owen/Guppy/I can't decide who I'll always think of him as because I kind of love this guy cracked me up.  It was generally a fun a movie.  Mako Mori was indeed awesome, and I love Idris Alba at all times and in all ways, but it didn't make me crave all the fanfic I've seen cropping up over AO3.  Sorry, dudes.

Thor isn't my favorite Avenger, but I like the Sci-Fi/Fantasy/High-Tech/Viking thing they do in his movies, and this definitely didn't disappoint on that level.

Selvig was great and Darcy was awesome (especially her first kiss with the intern; the sound I made was probably embarrassing), but they pretty much let me down with Jane.  She didn't even get the kind of 'be cool at the end' moment that Pepper at least semi-got in Iron Man 3- if you're going to be taken over by uber-powerful evil energy, you should get a chance to use it in my book.

Re: the rumor I heard somewhere that Loki won't be in the next Avengers movie- Yay!  Tom Hiddleson is great to look at and very good and I like Loki and when he and Thor are getting all feelsy I'm sniffling about how they looooove each other like everyone else, but they're in danger of pushing the envelope on how far they can't take his character without having him actually change in some way, for good or bad.  The neverending bad guy who still has this soft-spot for the hero is a hard sell, and I've only seen it done really well a few times.  And if they can't kill him off, even heroically, without upsetting all the fangirls, then having him just... out there for a while would be a good idea.

That reference was awful...wonder if Nathan was cringing all throughout...

I hope you see Thor soon. It has it's ups and downs, but I think it's well worth it.

I'm working on my SHIELD watching. I'll get there.

UGH. The DW reference. I wonder if anyone has told the writers that that right there is how you tell if someone has never seen Doctor Who in their lives. Nathan did look sort of pained, now that I think about it.

I'm rather looking forward to it!

SHIELD has had some brilliant moments these last few eppies. Definitely more than I bargained for: but then, we have some pretty awesome actors on this show!

Leverage's references were ten times better. And you could tell they watched Who. This was...yeah - they pulled the name out of the air because they wanted to look 'cool' - and likely to impress Nathan. *Headdesk* Who DOES watch DW. Yeah. Not a stellar moment. Though I must say, it did give me a bit of a grin to hear it referenced (even if poorly) and my first reaction was 'And how do YOU know about Doctor Who, Castle?'

Yeah, I agree it was nice that there was a reference at all. The thought of Espo watching it was sort of precious.

And, awww, Leverage did it so well. I miss it, I really do.
