So I'm sure the new "quick comments" feature has it's charms- it's probably convenient and all- but it's like they genuinely want this site to look just like tumblr or facebook.
I feel that my doubts about the "like" button have been borne out. It's not really a very good way to communicate "Hey I've seen your post but I don't really have anything to in particular to say" when the person whose post you're liking has no idea who you are in the first place.

Date: 2017-03-09 01:17 pm (UTC)Yeah I was kind of on the fence about it at first, but now I really don't see that it adds anything to the user experience, I mean you don't even get an email notification of who actually liked your entry? You will only even see the likes if you have the right LJ style to click on them in that entry, meh
