Date: 2019-10-26 06:25 pm (UTC)I'll watch "Decisions, Decisions" at some point, I'm just not quite ready yet.
You're definitely right that Moody isn't bad for a man of his time, he's just... also boring. But obviously I was missing some history on him, and that all sounds interesting. At some point I'll try to watch the whole series. It's such a shame that they wouldn't let her and James end up together. But that age difference would be a pretty big thing even now, let alone back then.
LOL. Were creepy doctors just Clifford Rose's thing? I'll try to check that one out.

Date: 2019-10-26 08:45 pm (UTC)Sorry, I made a mistake. The other spy episode is "To Help an Old School Friend", not "No Flowers by Request". In the former, Harriet investigates the mysterious death of an old classmate's son, who was involved in sensitive research that drew the attention of British security. It's a dark episode for Justice (1971), which means it fits right in with Callan. I like it because we see Harriet's courage in standing up to forces that could very well threaten her life.
LOL, Clifford Rose is totally typecast! Just take a look at his filmography. Half of his roles were him playing an evil interrogator - most notably, Sturmbannfuhrer Ludwig Kessler in two TV shows. Now that you mention it, that could make for a cool crossover with Horst Mohn in Colditz...
